Diskonto retails in items for Corporate Businesses, Schools and Home supplies and stationery. We also offer delivery services to the local area.

We take the stress out of “Back To School”, with our customised and approved pre-packed boxes according to the requirements of each school in George, and surrounding areas.

Diskonto started as a Christian Book and Literature shop. In 2004 Diskonto became a family-owned business when it was purchased by Giel and Natalie Van Der Merwe. Their contribution is an integral part of who and what Diskonto is today. They added Office, School and Home Stationery to the products on offer. In May 2021 Diskonto took on a new lease of life under the new ownership of Carlo and Stella Visicale. They relocated from Kimberley to George and became part of the Diskonto family. In 2023 Diskonto expanded their range to include Office Furniture within their list of products and expertise.
